Walking routes from the hotel
The hotel is on Paseo de Ulía, high on the slope of Mount Ulia, roughly 100 metres above sea level, so every walk is downhill going and a climb coming back. Times follow the street route at an easy 80 metres a minute.
- Zurriola beach and Grosabout 1.3 kilometres (17 minutes) by Ulia pasealekua, Markoseneko bidea and Zemoria kalea, losing about 75 metres of height on the way down.
- Kursaalabout 1.6 kilometres (20 minutes), by the same route and then San Francisco street.
- Old TownPlaza de la Constitución is about 2.5 kilometres (32 minutes) along the Zurriola promenade.
- Railway stationabout 2.4 kilometres (30 minutes) by Mikel Gardoki pasealekua, which is why the hotel’s taxi transfers matter when you have luggage.

The practical side
Arrival and parking
The front desk operates around the clock, allowing luggage drop-off before check-in or after leaving, with check-in from 15:00 and check-out by 12:00. Guests must provide a refundable €150 damage deposit upon arrival. Guests arriving by car can pull up directly to drop off bags before heading to off-site parking. Off-site parking is arranged at Parking de la Estación on Federico García Lorca Pasealekua, about 2.4 kilometres away; spaces are not included in the room rate and require a separate reservation.
The car park is open 24 hours and lists a maximum of €31.60 per day, a maximum vehicle height of 2.25 metres and six electric-vehicle points; it is outside the low-emission zone, and its own website has no reservation system. Each 24 hours of partner parking includes two one-way taxi transfers arranged by reception, which covers the trip up and back from a car park 2.4 kilometres away.
Children, capacity and cots
Children of all ages are welcome with no minimum age. The website does not state cot or extra-bed rules, so ask before booking if you need one. Every suite takes two guests, except the Ulia Family Suite (45 m², sofa bed), which takes up to four: two adults and two children. The Single Pool View Suite takes one guest. A minimum stay of two nights applies.
Facilities and what is missing
Tucked amid the garden greenery, guests will find a hidden historic Basque pelota court. Private wine tastings and curated wine packs can be enjoyed on-site through a partnership with Curdelon. Guests have access to an on-site infinity swimming pool. Breakfast is not included in the standard rate unless specifically booked during reservation. An old Basque pelota court sits hidden amid the garden greenery.
