Who should book it — and who should not
Best for
An overnight transit base in Derio, accepting that reaching Bilbao's historic centre and riverfront 5.9 km away requires public transit or a taxi.
Think twice if
Travelling with children under 7 years of age, as they are not permitted on the property.
Airport location and transfers
The hotel is at Zarandoa kalea, 1 in Derio, near Bilbao Airport. The official site’s 500-metre proximity claim does not establish a pedestrian route to the terminal: arrange the transfer rather than assuming a walk based on distance alone.
What recent guests notice
Guest reports describe both prompt shuttle collections and difficulties with schedules or contact. Treat those as individual experiences: reconfirm the agreed pickup rather than assuming an on-demand transfer.
Room categories and booking labels
2 optionsChoose the exact sleeping category and rate rather than treating every booking label as a different room design. Single and Double are the hotel’s official room categories; the catalogue also retains source-specific King and breakfast-inclusive names. Rooms offer a desk, TV and soundproofing, useful for an overnight airport stop. Confirm the beds and inclusions shown on your selected offer.

What changed
The purpose-built airport property first opened its doors to travellers in August 2017.
The practical side
Arrival and check-in
Reception operates 24 hours, with luggage storage available. The booking listing also describes free on-site private parking; confirm availability if you are arriving by car.
Breakfast and food
A self-service continental breakfast and a bar are available. Ask for serving times and whether your selected rate includes breakfast if you need to depart early.
Room position and sleep
Spread across four building levels, the property's 55 guest rooms all provide outward-facing exterior views and climate-controlled air conditioning.
The accessibility path
Lift access connects the upper floors, while the ground level houses accessible rooms alongside the hotel's dedicated meeting facilities.
Facilities and what is missing
The booking listing gives a free airport shuttle window of 05:10–23:30. Seats must be booked in advance and depend on availability; obtain the pickup details after booking and confirm your flight fits the service window. Free Wi-Fi is also available.
