How the location behaves
Igeldo lies entirely outside the Low Emission Zone (ZBE). Foreign-registered cars entering the central ZBE need municipal pre-registration, making the Illunbe park-and-ride shuttle the primary alternative. San Sebastián Airport (20 km) links via Line E21 for 2.90 euros (or seasonal E30). Bilbao Airport (100 km) connects by direct PESA coaches to Donostia Geltokia. Taxis complete the journey to hillside lodgings.
